Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus returned home on Friday after a two-day visit to Thailand, where he attended the sixth BIMSTEC summit and joined bilateral meetings with several head of the governments of neighbouring countries on the sidelines.
A Biman Bangladesh Airlines carrying the Chief Adviser and his entourages touched down Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport around 10:05pm Bangladesh Time.
CA press wing said, earlier Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus had left Bangkok for Dhaka at 8:45pm local time by a Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight after attending the sixth BIMSTEC Summit in the Thai capital on Friday.
Thai Minister attached to the Prime Minister’s Office Jiraporn Sindhuprai saw him off at Bangkok airport.
The Chief Adviser arrived in Bangkok on Thursday and attended multiple events, including bilateral meetings with several heads of the governments of neighbouring countries.
